We prefer the following files when supplying your artwork:
• Print Ready PDF (high resolution PDF)
• JPEGs
• Photoshop file – Set the resolution to 300dpi when starting your new document and save the file as a .tiff, .jpeg or .pdf. Choose ‘Press Quality’ when saving the file. Do not flatten the layers.
• Indesign File
• CoralDraw
• Illustrator- ensure you choose ‘Press Quality’ when saving as a pdf.
• Word files can be converted to a pdf using the following website: http://convert.neevia.com/pdfconvert/
Please ensure colours are set to CYMK and not RGB.
We recommend you send the file as a print ready PDF. If you do supply artwork as a TIFF or JPEG ensure that it is saved at minimum 300dpi and colours are set to CYMK. If artwork is being sent as an EPS file please ensure all fonts are converted to ‘Paths/Outlines’ and all images are embedded within the document.
Bleed
A bleed is a 3mm section of the image that goes beyond the edge of the sheet. A 3mm section is needed to ensure that any inaccuracies should not cause a problem. This means you will provide us an image which is slightly larger than the final outcome. Crop marks are shown on templates which show where the guillotine will be positioned to produce the final piece. Failure to provide a 3mm bleed could result in a thin white border around the final piece, which will look unprofessional. Crop marks should be placed 3-6mm from the document border. Your text cannot pass the crop marks otherwise it will get cut by the guillotine. Sending a file without bleed can cause delays in your order. See our template which shows print sizes including bleed.
Bleed settings in Photoshop
There are no custom made bleed settings available in Photoshop but it can be created by your self. An example being if your final desired image was to be 200mmx 200mm, with a bleed the dimensions would be 206mmx206mm.
Can I send scanned images and photographs

Banner Printing FAQ
How long does it take to produce a banner?
Complexity, quantity and size determine how long an order takes to complete. Generally a banner will take 3-4 working days to reach you from the time that either we receive artwork or the design has been approved by you via email.
How do I supply artwork for banners?
Artwork is required preferably as a Hi-Res PDF, however, Illustrator (AI); Photoshop TIFF (flattened), EPS are also acceptable. Print ready artwork should preferably be supplied at ¼ of the final size of the banner: if your banner is 3000mm × 1000mm (3m × 1m) artwork needs to be prepared at a size of 750mm × 250mm. Artwork must be supplied at 300dpi and preferably as a high quality PDF with 5mm bleed and crop marks. If you are sending multiple banners, please clearly indicate the different banners in the file name. It is important that all fonts are embeded or converted to outlines please check this carefully as it may result in your banner not being printed correctly. Please also note we are unable to accept any Microsoft files as printable artwork including: Word, Publisher, Excel & Powerpoint .
Are the banners suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, All our banners are made from heavy duty PVC material and they are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. We use either UV or solvent inks which means that they are extremely durable and do not fade. For extra security on larger banners we also offer double-hem reinforcement. This is effectively a seat-belt-type material which is either sewn or welded into the hems of the banner for extra strength. However, please be aware that banners are only temporary signage and we cannot be held responsible for any fitting or installation issues. As with all forms of temporary signage, they should be taken down in winds exceeding 30mph.
Can you fit my banner?
Unfortunately, we don’t offer a fitting service.
Can I use photo quality picture on my banner?
Absolutely. We print to 720dpi (Dots per inch) (Addressable) so the quality is excellent. However, please remember that banners are produced to be viewed from a distance.
Proof and Confirmation
If we are doing the artwork for you, the next stage is for us to provide you with a proof of the work. This allows you to see exactly what you have ordered and check the colours, layout and text.
